 The Valley Project has collected over six hundred images of the American
Civil War: over 400 original photographs from the U.S. Military History
Institute at Carlisle Barracks and over 200 images from Harpers' Weekly.
We have made a searchable database of some of these images to allow you the
greatest access and flexibility in looking for images from the
collection. This resource allows you to search by battle or place
to find images, either photographs or drawings.
