| Currently, the Valley of the Shadow houses a variety of data sources including Census Records, Tax Records, Soldiers Dossiers, Letters, and Diaries. With ECAI support, the Valley will intergrate this data into a single, explicitly spatial framework. This spatial framework provides one means of linking previously unrelatable data sets, offering unenvisioned or untestable relationships. In other words, the Valley's GIS project will put the people back into their houses and businesses. |
